A visit to the Kennedy Space Center of the NASA in Cape Canaveral is fascinating and provides an insight into the US space program.
The first thing built was Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, later they added Kennedy Space Center on the opposed Merritt Island – that’s where space shuttles launch from today. Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is the launching base for all unmanned missions by NASA.
